Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware and Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve University are expanding their early admission pathway to add two new options for OWU students seeking to earn master’s degrees at CWRU’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Through the expanded agreement, Ohio Wesleyan students accepted into any of three Weatherhead School master’s degree programs will receive scholarships valued at least $10,000, with the potential to receive additional merit aid. Graduates of all three programs currently experience 100% job placement.

The three Weatherhead School STEM degree programs included in Ohio Wesleyan’s early admission pathway are:

  • Master of Business Analytics & Intelligence: This new addition is a three-semester program that includes an internship. Students study cutting-edge analytics using real-world data from CWRU industry partners to develop skills extracting insights from analytics for business problem-solving.
  • Master of Supply Chain Management: This new addition can be completed in two or three semesters, depending on whether students pursue add-on certificates in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Business Analytics. Graduates make an impact in national and international operations and supply chain management in areas including manufacturing and service industries.
  • Master of Finance: This existing pathway can be completed in two semesters and includes three specialized, STEM-eligible tracks: Financial Big Data Analytics, Corporate Financial Analytics, and Risk Management Analytics. Internships are also available.

Applications for all three master’s degree programs are being accepted now, with application fees waived for OWU students.

To be eligible for early decision acceptance into these Weatherhead School programs, Ohio Wesleyan students must have completed all of their OWU coursework with a final grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed all specifically required prerequisite economics, business, accounting, and/or mathematics classes with at least a B in each course.

For fall 2022, the Weatherhead School is test-optional, with applicants able to waive the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) test if they choose to do so.

“Ohio Wesleyan is pleased to offer an expanded pathway for OWU students to pursue master’s degrees with early admission and scholarship opportunities at Case Western Reserve University’s acclaimed Weatherhead School of Management,” Provost Karlyn Crowley said. “The three Weatherhead STEM-eligible graduate degrees will help OWU students achieve their career goals and make important contributions in national and international business.”

“The Weatherhead School of Management is excited to collaborate with Ohio Wesleyan to make our STEM-eligible graduate degrees more accessible,” said Gregory A. Jonas, senior associate dean of academics and graduate programs at Weatherhead School of Management. “We believe this collaboration will help students better attain their career aspirations.”
