On Monday of this week, we took a narrative look at the venerable Edwards Gymnasium on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. Today, we continue that theme by sharing a video of the nextdoor and newly renovated Branch Rickey Arena.
As we shared back last April, the facility, home of the Battling Bishop wrestling, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball teams, received a $4 million renovation in 2020. That post can be read here.
To celebrate the return of the “new” Branch Rickey Arena to full operation, a video has been created and shared showing several of the highlights of the project. Throughout, there is mention of how state-of-the-art fixtures and features mesh with keeping the traditional feel of the place.
