Imagine military grade bulletproof elbow and knee pads.

That’s the product that took Trust Armor to victory in the Entrepreneur Pitch Competition held this week through the Delaware Entrepreneurial Center.

As we shared earlier this month, student teams in Steve Flaherty’s Business 425 Entrepreneurship class at Ohio Wesleyan spent a semester creating companies and brands based on patented technologies originally researched and developed by U.S. military-affiliated laboratories.

The results were announced in a post on the Center’s Facebook Page. The winning team received a cash prize as well as free assistance from the Center to commercialize that or another product.

The Center’s Facebook Page also includes the Facebook Live broadcast where teams made their pitches to invited judges.
