Ohio Wesleyan University is proud to welcome alumnus Colonel Eric “Ferris” Buer, USMC (Ret), Class of 1988, back to campus for a special event on Thursday, January 23. Eric Buer, a businessman, entrepreneur, military veteran, and author of the #1 Amazon bestseller Ghosts of Baghdad, will share insights from his remarkable career and his firsthand account of the Iraq War.

Eric Buer’s journey is one of service, leadership, and storytelling. As a Marine Corps officer, Buer played a pivotal role during the early days of the Iraq War.
