Area French pastry lovers unite; Powell’s bakery scene is about to get a distinctly international addition.

TOUS les JOURS, the French-Asian bakery café known for freshly baked breads, elaborate cakes, pastries, and handcrafted drinks, plans to open this fall at 10726 Sawmill Parkway, Suite 102. The company announced the Powell location through social media, marking another step in the brand’s growing Central Ohio presence.

For local customers, the appeal will likely begin with a display case that does not look much like the standard neighborhood bakery counter.

Where French Technique Meets Asian Flavor

TOUS les JOURS specializes in French-Asian inspired baked goods, combining familiar European pastry traditions with ingredients and flavor combinations drawn from across Asia. The result is a menu that ranges from recognizable croissants and cakes to creations featuring red bean, purple sweet potato, mango, and yuzu. Among the brand’s distinctive offerings are items such as Mango Croissant, Milk Cream Red Bean Bread, Purple Sweet Potato Loaf, and Yuzu Pie. The larger menu spans breads, cakes, sandwiches, pastries and pies, along with coffee and espresso drinks, teas, signature beverages, and blended drinks.

The emphasis is on variety and freshness. TOUS les JOURS describes its bakeries as places where customers can find baked goods prepared daily, whether stopping in for a morning pastry and coffee, picking up bread for home, or choosing one of the company’s decorative cakes for a celebration.

A Name Built Around “Every Day”

The name TOUS les JOURS literally means “every day” in French, an appropriate fit for a company that has built its identity around freshly baked products and neighborhood bakery cafés.

The chain entered the United States in 2004 and has since expanded across the country while maintaining its focus on French-Asian inspired baking, specialty coffee, and handcrafted beverages. Its broader menu and bakery model have helped distinguish it from both traditional American bakeries and quick-service coffee shops.

Growing Around Central Ohio

The Powell bakery will join existing TOUS les JOURS locations at 2851 Olentangy River Road in Columbus and 7410 State Route 161 East in Plain City. Both current locations offer the company’s mix of breads, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, and teas.

That will make Powell the brand’s third Central Ohio location, bringing the concept farther north into the fast-growing Sawmill Parkway corridor. The new bakery’s address is part of The Shoppes at Wedgewood, a retail development at 10726 Sawmill Parkway near Target.

Coming This Fall

An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but TOUS les JOURS says the Powell bakery is expected to open in fall 2026.

For those curious about what may be waiting inside, the company’s official website offers a look at its broader menu of breads, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, coffee, teas, and blended drinks.

And for Powell residents, the meaning behind the bakery’s French name may soon become a local possibility: something freshly baked, every day.
