February is a month for romance and … chocolate!
The two go hand in hand. Who hasn’t given or received chocolates for Valentine’s Day?
As for this Friday in downtown Powell, the streets will practically be lined with it! It’s the city’s “Wonderful Walk of Chocolate.”
From 6 PM until 9 PM, chocolate will be available from participating establishments; stroll through historic downtown Powell and stop at shops, bars and restaurants for a free chocolate sample. Hot chocolate will be available for purchase; the sidewalks will feature strolling musicians, and a bonfire will be held in Village Green Park.
Word has it that “winter games” will also be available.
The Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area (D.O.R.A.) allows you to take your favorite beverage with you while you shop, listen, and watch.
