“We take great pride in attracting the most talented professionals and providing an empowering workplace for our employees to excel,” said Lori Kaiser, CPA, Founder and CEO of Kaiser Consulting. “We’re thrilled the dedication to our unique culture and core values has once again resulted in being recognized as a top employer in the region and our number one ranking makes this year’s award even more special.”

“Our team members love solving our client’s problems and our company’s success is a direct result of their hard work. Our people truly make the difference and this award belongs to our entire team,” adds Kaiser. “Being named a Best Places to Work lets us know we’re providing a dynamic environment where our employees are achieving their full potential.”

The Columbus Business First awards program recognizing Central Ohio’s exceptional workplaces is now in its 14th year. This year, more than 220 nominations were received in five company size categories. The winner’s list included just 46 honorees across all size categories.

2018 marks the first year Kaiser Consulting was in the medium-sized category with 50 to 99 employees. In 2015 and 2016, the company’s awards were received in the small-sized category with 25 to 49 employees. On November 6th, team members attended the annual awards luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Columbus to celebrate the exciting announcement of being ranked first out of the 10 medium-sized company honorees.

“Being named the Best Medium Company is like hitting a home run,” said Angela McDermott, Kaiser Consulting’s Director of Operations. “In the last year, our staff has increased by 37%. As a growing company, we’re gratified both new and existing employees are happy with our culture.”

Columbus Business First partnered with Quantum Workplace to conduct anonymous employee satisfaction surveys in key areas including company culture, trust in senior leadership, working environment, role satisfaction, compensation and benefits, work-life flexibility, and professional growth. The Best Places to Work rankings are based exclusively on the survey results.

“One of our core values is ensuring our employees have balance between home, work, and community,” adds McDermott. “It’s reassuring to know our team members genuinely feel we’re achieving this goal.”ticipants
