Powell City Council is seeking candidates who are interested in being considered for appointment to the Planning & Zoning Commission.

To be considered for an appointment, please submit an online application here or mail a cover letter and resume to Karen J. Mitchell, City Clerk, 47 Hall Street, Powell, Ohio 43065 by September 15.

The Planning & Zoning Commission is comprised of seven members and makes recommendations to City Council on a variety of development-related issues, as well as amendments to the Zoning Code. Members serve a four-year term, meeting on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.

Qualified applicants should be a resident of the City of Powell. Knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of government or city planning is preferred.
