The next program of the Powell-Liberty Historical Society takes place on the evening of Monday, August 12.

At 7 PM, Sherry Carmichael, long time Powell resident, will lead guests on a walking tour of downtown Powell, highlighting many historical buildings and interesting anecdotes. The tour begins at the Martin-Perry House, located at 103 East Olentangy Street.

This annual event is always educational, inspirational and an enjoyable way to spend a beautiful summer evening.  Topping off the event will be a return to the Martin Perry House for cookies and a tour of the house for those interested.

The Martin-Perry House is home to the Powell Liberty Historical Society and honors the only two families who lived in the simple farmhouse. You can read more about the house at this location.
