The City of Powell is hosting the annual Holidays in Powell event presented by KEMBA Financial Credit Union from 12-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.
Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus – 12:30-5:30 p.m. Municipal Building East Room – Register here
Families will be required to register to participate during a 30-minute window. Registration begins Monday, Nov. 8. City residents will receive priority registration through Sunday, Nov. 21. If spots are still available, registration will be open to non-residents through Friday, Dec. 3. One family member (parent/guardian) should register and then list the total number of participants for their family. Not each family member needs to be registered individually. Register here.

Holidays in Powell Experience Packs – Register here
The Powell Parks & Recreation Department is providing one of the favorite traditions from Holidays in Powell – crafts and activities. Many local partners have contributed items to the experience packs, including DIY crafts, a letter template to Santa and other goodies for the entire family to enjoy. Register for your activity pack in advance here and select pick up on Friday, Dec. 3 or Saturday, Dec. 4 in the Municipal Building East Room, 47 Hall Street.
Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Concert – 6 p.m. Village Green Park
Join Santa, Mrs. Claus and Mayor Frank Bertone for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. in Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street. Enjoy a holiday concert presented by the Powell Community Band immediately following the ceremony.

Consider shopping and dining local this holiday season. Dine in or order curbside pickup or delivery from one of the local Powell restaurants and pick up holiday gifts from one of the many boutique retail stores. Plan ahead – check store hours and specials in advance of your visit.
Santa’s Mailbox
Santa’s mailbox will be in front of the City’s Municipal Building, located at 47 Hall Street, starting in the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Dec. 12.
