‘Chocolate’ is one word that comes easy to the tongue during February. That confection, uniquely tied with Valentine’s Day, takes center stage later this week with the opening of a new chocolate truffle store in Powell.

On Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4, Powell welcomes Lohcally Artisan Chocolatier’s first-over standalone location. Long a favorite with local pop-up shops and retailers, this will be the operation’s first permanent home.

According to the Lohcally Artisan Choloatier website, you will be able to “…indulge in our delectable selection of handcrafted truffles, made with only the finest ingredients. From classic milk chocolate to delicately creamy white chocolate and exotic dark chocolate flavors, we have something to satisfy every sweet tooth.”

Special pre-orders for Valentine’s Day are a great idea for that certain someone with a sweet tooth.

The store’s website can be accessed here, and its Facebook Page can be read here. The store will be open from 11 AM to 7 PM on Friday and Saturday. We hope to see you there later this week!
