Several scholarships for high school seniors are available through the Delaware County Foundation, and the window of time in which to apply for each is closing soon.

Each year the Foundation offers more than 40 scholarship programs for eligible students, awarding over $300,000 collectively with awards ranging from $1,000 to over $5,000.

Each scholarship has a set of eligibility requirements, which can include attendance at a particular high school, the chosen field to be pursued in college or other post-secondary education, and certain career fields. Several scholarships honor former students or staff members.

Requirements to apply can include essays, a given grade point average, and a demonstration of financial need.

The Foundation’s improved scholarship pages allow for browsing scholarships after applying specific filters that result in an automatic recommendation of the best scholarship to each student. The applications are linked directly to the scholarship profiles on the website.

The scholarship pages can be accessed here. Most applications are available through February 15 with a few notable exceptions. The deadlines are each listed on the individual scholarship profiles.
