Twenty Olentangy Local School District students have been named as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

The students are among approximately 1.6 million high school seniors from across the country who entered the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Semifinalists represent the top 16,000 highest scoring students.[widgets_on_pages id=1] About 15,000 semifinalists will go on to qualify as finalists. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to compete for some 7,500 National Merit scholarships.
