Students in Ohio University’s College of Business are being recognized for their outstanding achievements and contributions to their communities as part of 2022 award celebrations. The awards include success not only academic excellence, but also exemplary leadership, resilience and service in courses, student organizations, and co-curricular opportunities.

“We are extremely proud of our students,” said Jackie Rees Ulmer, dean of the College of Business. “Business Bobcats work extremely hard to pursue their educational, professional, and career goals. It’s an honor to see them succeed and recognize their accomplishments.”

Each year the college celebrates business students, alumni, faculty and staff at various events and banquets that take place throughout the spring. This year’s list of student award recipients includes three residents of Delaware County.

Local students recognized with awards were:

Anibel Neill, Delaware
Excellence in Leadership and Scholarship Award in Business Analytics

Kennedy Wirth, Ostrander
Excellence in Leadership and Scholarship Award in Management

Lindsey Stein, Sunbury
Schey Leadership Scholarship

Ohio University’s College of Business ranked among the best schools in the country by Poets&Quants for Undergrads on its list of 2022 Best Undergraduate Business Schools. OHIO had the second-highest ranking among public institutions in the state as well.
