There’s still some summer left, you know? What better way to celebrate the heat than with great food, great music, and perhaps a bit of liquid refreshment?

The Ninth Annual Sizzle and Sounds in Sunbury takes place on Sunday, August 17 from 11 AM to 11 PM (easy to remember)! The fun takes place on the Square downtown.

The events include a Kids’ Zone open from 11 AM to 4 PM and a Teen Zone open from 11 AM to 11 PM. The Beer Garden (ages 21 and older only) is open starting at 1:30 PM for the remainder of the day.

And, as mentioned, there are live bands and great food vendors. For a complete list, visit the website of the Big Walnut Civic Association.

A neighborhood shuttle will every 30 minutes during the entire day.
