Key Agenda Items:

  1. Public Hearing – SGB Fund 1, LLC Rezoning:
    A public hearing will be held regarding the rezoning of approximately 298 acres of land owned by Forrest J. Hale, Marilyn R. Hale, John E. Evans, and Linda K. Evans. The land is located south of Vans Valley Road and is proposed to be rezoned to a Limited Industrial District. The council will deliberate on Ordinance 2024.29, addressing this rezoning request.
  2. Visitor Presentation:
    Andy Volenik from Delaware County Transit is scheduled to provide updates and discuss transit matters with the council.
  3. Committee Reports:
    Various committee members will report updates, including Police, Administrator, and Engineer Reports.

Resolutions for Consideration:

  • Resolution 2024.18: Appointment of a new member to the Board of Trustees for the Sunbury Meadows NCA.
  • Resolution 2024.19: Approval of engineering services with CT Consultants for the expansion of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
  • Resolution 2024.20: First reading to approve consulting services with Baker Tilly for a utility rates study.
  • Resolution 2024.21: First reading to award the Walnut Street Stabilization Project to Ironsite, Inc.
  • Resolution 2024.22: Approval to partner with Berkshire Township and the Delaware County Engineer’s Office for improvements on 3B’s and K Road, seeking funding through the Ohio Public Works Commission.

Ordinances for Deliberation:

  • Ordinance 2024.23 (Third Reading): Final plat approval for the Eagle Creek Subdivision, Phases 2 and 3.
  • Ordinance 2024.24 (Third Reading): Rezoning application approval from DR Horton – Indiana LLC for approximately 40 acres south of U.S. 36/SR 37.
  • Ordinance 2024.26 (Third Reading): Amending the Sunbury Comprehensive Plan to add the Sunbury Parkway Master Plan.
  • Ordinance 2024.27 (Second Reading): Accepting a petition for annexation of 6.4 acres located in Berlin Township, Delaware County, owned by Northport Place LLC.
  • Ordinance 2024.28 (First Reading): Accepting a petition for annexation of 60.836 acres located in Berlin Township, owned by Lou Ann Medellin and Diamond Resources Corporation.
  • Ordinance 2024.01.3 Third Amended (First Reading): Amending the 2024 annual appropriations.
