Delaware County’s rich collection of brew houses and pubs is about ready to expand.

The folks at the new Henmick Farm & Brewery are nearing an opening date for their new operations at 4380 North Old State Road. In fact, they are already taking inquiries from parties seeking to reserve the large barn for weddings and other gatherings later this year.

Begun with a vision three years ago, Nick Sheets and his siblings are transforming a piece of family history — purchased by his great grandfather over 100 years ago. The working farm now features a taproom, space to produce the finished product, and a large 1860s-era barn featuring a large, stone fireplace.

The Henmick Facebook Page, accessible here, is full of photos of the soon-to-be-opened space. A variety of beers will be available, and food trucks will be frequent guests to add to the available fare.

The head brewer is Zack Cline, Columbus Alive’s 2018 Brewer of the Year.

The Henmick Farm & Brewery website can be found here, and the operation can be contacted by email at info@henmick.com. There’s also an Instagram page with additional photos and details.
