Coming next week with the City of Delaware:

Street Sweeping:

Street sweeping begins Monday, May 16 and will require approximately eight weeks to complete. Signage will be posted at key entrances to the area undergoing sweeping activity to alert motorists and residents of the activity.

  • Vehicles should not park on the street during activity hours so the sweeper can reach the curb.
  • Do not blow or rake leaves or yard waste into the roadway in advance, as this will inhibit the sweeping process.

Public questions regarding the program may be directed to 740-203-1810.
