Kyushu Ramen Bar, with one location in Columbus, is expanding its business with a new restaurant in central Ohio. The owner, Leon Zhu, announced the upcoming opening of the new location at 6418 Pullman Drive in Lewis Center via Instagram (see below).
The expansion comes just a year after the opening of the first location in Grandview Heights.
The restaurant specializes in serving authentic Japanese ramen noodles, as well as other traditional Japanese dishes. The restaurant is known for its wide variety of ramen bowls, which are made with different types of broth, noodles, and toppings to suit different tastes.
There’s also the Spicy Miso Ramen with corn, cabbage, and green onion, as well as a vegetarian option with tofu, bean sprouts, green onion, and bamboo shoot. The menu also includes rice and stir-fried noodle bowls, such as the Yaki Soba bowl with Japanese-style buckwheat noodles, pork or shrimp, cabbage, carrots, scallions, and egg. Additionally, customers can enjoy various sides and starters like spring rolls, edamame, dumplings, and fried octopus.
In addition to ramen, Kyushu Ramen Bar also offers appetizers such as gyoza and takoyaki, as well as other entrees such as donburi bowls and bento boxes. The restaurant has a casual and cozy atmosphere, and is popular among locals and visitors alike.
