The Delaware Public Health District is set to host a series of essential immunization and screening clinics throughout 2024. These clinics are designed to cater to both adults and children, ensuring that the community’s healthcare needs are met comprehensively and conveniently.

Sunbury Clinic

Located at 137 State Route 3, the Sunbury Clinic will operate every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The clinic offers both walk-in and appointment options, providing flexibility for busy schedules. To schedule an appointment, interested individuals can contact the clinic at (740) 203-2040 or visit DelawareHealth.org/immunizations.

Delaware Clinics

The Delaware Clinics, situated at 470 S. Sandusky Street offer an expanded schedule to accommodate more residents. These clinics operate from Monday to Friday, with varying hours, and include both walk-in and appointment-based services. Notably, the clinics are closed on specific dates, including November 27 and December 25, with no clinics on the fourth Friday of each month.

Monday to Thursday Services

From Monday to Thursday, the clinics are open from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. These days offer a mix of walk-in and appointment options, catering to different preferences and needs.

Special Wednesday and Saturday Clinics

Every last Wednesday of the month, the clinics extend their hours to 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, exclusively for appointments. This extended hour service is particularly beneficial for working individuals and families. Additionally, on the third Saturday of each month, the clinics open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for scheduled appointments, providing a weekend option for those unable to visit during weekdays.

Immunizations and regular health screenings play a crucial role in preventing diseases and maintaining overall health. They are especially important for children, as they protect against various illnesses that can have severe consequences. Similarly, adult immunizations and screenings ensure early detection and prevention of health issues, contributing to a healthier community.
