Here’s a unique way to spread the joy of Valentine’s Day with your partner.

It’s Do Good Date Night, hosted by Connections Volunteer Center, coming up on Friday, February 15 at 6:30 PM.

Have a fun, connective date night while feeling like you made a difference in your community at the same time. That’s exactly the thinking behind this event. Couples pitch in to help a local non-profit and then kick back and enjoy food, drinks and good times. It’s a win-win for everyone.

The Do Good Date Night nonprofit event series combines volunteering with date night by giving couples access to fun and rewarding service experiences in their community.

This event is at the Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Food Pantry, located at 73 London Road in Delaware.  Come spend an hour helping to sort canned goods, bread, and other items to benefit low-income households in Delaware. After an hour of volunteering, we will then have pizza, drinks and play Minute to Win It!

Participants should plan to dress warm and comfortable for this volunteer experience. The cost is $20 per person or $40 per couple.

Online registration is available here. For more information, contact Erin Coss at ecoss@helplinedelmor.org or 740.363.5000.
