Delaware County’s Dustin Kent, a seasoned public health professional, has recently stepped into the role of President of the Ohio Environmental Health Association (OEHA). His extensive background and commitment to environmental health are expected to bring fresh perspectives and enhanced initiatives to the association.

Career Highlights

Starting his educational journey at Heidelberg College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Kent furthered his expertise at The Ohio State University, earning a Master of Public Health Degree. His career in environmental health began in 2003 and includes significant contributions in various Ohio counties including Seneca and Crawford. Recognized for his leadership and expertise, Kent served as the Northwest District Director for OEHA in 2014 and received the title of Northwest Ohio Outstanding Sanitarian in 2019.

OEHA’s Mission and Impact

The Ohio Environmental Health Association is a key player in promoting public health through environmental safety and education. Affiliated with the National Environmental Health Association, OEHA engages with public health professionals to address environmental risks and improve community well-being.
