The Delaware Soil and Water Conservation District (DSWCD) is offering high school students an amazing opportunity: a full-ride sponsorship to attend Camp Canopy in 2024! This sponsorship, valued at $400, will cover the entire week-long experience at Camp Muskingum on Leesville Lake in Carroll County. The camp will take place from June 9 to June 14, 2024. It’s open to high school students, from incoming freshmen to graduating seniors in 2024.

To be considered for this sponsorship, students need to complete an application, including responses to essay questions. Applications must be received at the DSWCD office by 5:00 PM on May 10, 2024. What is Camp Canopy?
Camp Canopy is an immersive experience for high school students interested in natural resources. With 47 forestry and wildlife professionals, students engage in hands-on activities like measuring tree volume, identifying different species, and learning forest and wildlife management techniques.
