Although the air is still crisp with spring, the heartbeat of summer is already pulsing through the Ohio State Fairgrounds. With the 2025 fair season just around the corner, Delaware County residents and Ohioans alike can start gearing up for this year’s festivities, set to take place from July 24 through August 4.

Advance Ticket Sales Begin May 1

The countdown begins May 1 when admission tickets for the Ohio State Fair officially go on sale. Available through Ticketmaster, this early bird opportunity gives fairgoers a chance to lock in discounted pricing, with single-day admission tickets priced at just $8.

Fair enthusiasts who plan to attend multiple days can also opt for the three-day admission pass for $20 or a 12-day pass for $75. These multi-day options allow for one entry per day and are a cost-effective way to make the most of Ohio’s iconic fair experience.

New This Year: Paid Parking Returns

One significant change this year is the return of on-grounds parking fees. Visitors will need to pay $10 to park on site, either by purchasing in advance or at the gate.

Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds Executive Director Adam Heffron emphasized that the parking fee will help maintain affordability for admission while supporting the fair’s overall experience.

“We remain committed to that mission and will use parking revenue to offset increasing operational costs while keeping the visitor experience at the forefront of the Fair,” Heffron stated.

Free Park-and-Ride Shuttles for Visitors

To ease the transition, the fair will offer daily free park-and-ride shuttle options. Visitors can park in designated lots near the fairgrounds and take a shuttle directly to the entrance, offering a convenient and cost-saving alternative.

Ticket Pricing Overview

Here’s a breakdown of ticket and parking pricing:

  • Online Advance-Sale Single Day Admission: $8

A Celebration Worth Planning For
