Tickets are now on sale for Hayes High School’s spring musical, Disney’s The Descendants.

The production will be staged March 19 through March 21 at the Hayes High School Auditorium. Organizers are encouraging theatergoers to buy early, with tickets available online through On The Stage.

The show brings to life familiar Disney characters through the story of Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos, the children of some of Disney’s best-known villains. As they leave the Isle of the Lost for Auradon Prep, they arrive with a secret plan of their own, only to find themselves pulled between the expectations of their families and the possibility of a different future.

A Pop-Filled Stage Version of a Disney Favorite

Descendants: The Musical is a 100-minute stage adaptation of the Disney Channel Descendants film trilogy. Created for schools, amateur companies, and youth theaters, the production is designed for energetic student casts and features a contemporary pop score built around songs from the franchise.

Among the musical numbers featured in the show are Rotten to the Core, Evil Like Me, Be Our Guest, Good Is the New Bad, Ways to Be Wicked, If Only, Chillin’ Like a Villain, Better Together, and Did I Mention. The stage version is built to showcase large ensemble scenes, dance numbers, and student performers in a fast-moving format.
