Enjoy the talents of Westerville City School District students at the inaugural Summer Enrichment Series production of Crazy For You, taking place from July 18-21 at Westerville North High School.=

This historic event brings students from all WCSD middle schools and high schools together for the first time. Students in grades 8-12 have participated in a six week rehearsal process under the direction and supervision of all three high school directors and a team of professionals.

Now it’s your turn to enjoy this zany, rich-boy-meets-hometown-girl romantic comedy.

Crazy for You tells the story of young New York banker Bobby Child, who is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theatre. In Deadrock, Bobby falls for spunky Polly Baker, the theater owner’s daughter. But Polly takes an instant dislike to the city slicker, so Bobby vows – through cunning, razzmatazz, and a hilarious case of mistaken identity – to win Polly’s heart and save the theatre. Memorable Gershwin tunes from the score include “I Got Rhythm,” “Naughty Baby,” “They Can’t Take That Away from Me,” “Embraceable You,” “But Not for Me,” “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Tickets can be purchased at door or reserved ahead of time at this location online. Tickets are $15 and sold online until the night of the show. Gold cards will be accepted at the door.

Online sales will stop 24 hours before the curtain rises.
