Changes in traffic volume related to Ohio’s stay-at-home order continue to have an impact on road and highway projects across Ohio.

This is true in Delaware County, where the office of the Delaware County Engineer has been sharing update notices in terms of when and where road projects will begin.

Take, for instance, the Home Road Bridge Project. This work is part of the $5.3 million State Route 315 and Home Road Intersection Project that includes a new traffic signal and the widening of Home Road to five lanes.

The new closing date for the Project is May 4. The road closure is between State Route 315 and Perry Road.

Taggart Road at the south end near Home Road will also be closed.

Reopening is scheduled for sometime near the end of August.
