The Sixth Annual Buckeye Battle presented by Venom Lures, and it is set to try your skills and a wee bit of luck. You also need to be ready and willing to arrive at the crack of dawn!
The even is an open fundraiser tournament that benefits the Ohio State Bass Fishing Club/Team.
Details are as follows:
- Fee is $100 per boat
- Youth teams are allowed in the event with boat captains, but will have a reduced entry fee and will only participate against other youth teams in the field to prevent any conflicts with having 3 people in some boats. Contact the organizers for more details.
- Participants are asked to maintain social distancing and wear masks during registration and weigh in. One member from each boat will come to the scales to weigh in fish.
You can pre-register now and lock in an early boat number by emailing or registering at the ramp that morning (cash only). The email address is: osubassfishing@gmail.com.
The event will be held on Sunday, September 13 from 5 AM to 3:30 PM at the Hollenback Ramp with the following schedule:
- Registration: 5:15 AM to 5:45 AM
- Tournament: 7 AM to 2 PM
The Marina is located at 4000 Hollenback Road.
