A pandemic is not going to stop the fun of Halloween this year in Central Ohio. It will make for a somewhat different experience, however.

For starters, social distancing, sanitizer, and, of course masks will be a key ingredient.

Delaware County communities are also experiencing a bit more variety this year in terms of when trick or treat will be taking place. The schedule for cities, villages, and townships across the county is as follows. For those communities with additional information or guidelines, a link is included.

All of the trick or treat evenings will take place from 6 until 8 PM on the date specified, with the exception of Shawnee Hills, where kids can collect candy door-to-door from 5 until 8 PM:

Delaware: October 31

Dublin: October. 29

Genoa Township: October 31

Liberty Township: October 31

Orange Township, October 29

Ostrander: October 31, 6-8 PM

Powell: October 31

Shawnee Hills, October 29

Sunbury, October 29

Westerville: October 29

The Delaware General Health District has shared some general guidelines for beggars, candy givers, and for trick or treat events. That guidance can be seen below.
