You may have seen them on a video looking at sales trends of the next century. Whatever you think of them, they certainly make a strong impression.

We’re talking about vending machines for cars, and if Business First and NBC4i are correct, one will soon be coming to Delaware County.

According to those sources, such a facility is coming to what is now the home of Magic Mountain Fun Center on Lyra in the south part of Polaris. Over 13 acres would house the car sales operation and additional, unannounced retail development.

Carvana is an online used car retailer which was added to the Fortune 500 list in 2021 in only its ninth year of operation. It is also home to a as-soon-as-next-day car delivery service.

As a commenter shared on Reddit on Monday, “Lyra Drive has a lot of momentum right now,” referencing both this project and construction of a new Sheetz store.
