Leadership Delaware County, a flagship program by the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce, is your gateway to becoming a vital leader in the community. Over nine months, participants dive into a rich curriculum that sharpens leadership skills and broadens perspectives on critical issues. Since 1992, nearly 1,000 leaders have emerged from this transformative program.

What to Expect

From September through May, one Thursday a month, participants engage with experts and peers, exploring:

  • Economic Development: Understand local business dynamics and growth strategies.
  • Political Insight: Navigate the workings of local governance and policy-making.
  • Educational Landscape: Explore the achievements and challenges of our school systems.
  • Social Awareness: Address community issues and develop strategies for positive change.

Sustained by dedicated volunteers, alumni, and strong business backing, Leadership Delaware County offers a unique blend of learning and networking. Participants gain access to people and places they wouldn’t typically encounter, enhancing their understanding and leadership capacity.
