Multiple media are reporting that the Liberty Tavern, a staple in downtown Powell for over a decade, is poised to open a second Delaware County location.

The “Elevated American Tavern,” as proclaimed on its website, will be locating at 2170 Polaris Parkway, on the other end of the shopping plaza from Five Guys. The location was formerly the Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers.

The company is now planning an additional location in Grove City as well.

Liberty Tavern’s menu includes a variety of burgers, including the Mushroom Wagyu Burger, with Ohio Wagyu Beef, Roasted Mushrooms, Arugula, Havarti Cheese, Parmesan Crisps, Truffle Aioli on a Brioche Bun; and the Caprese Bison Burger, Grilled Bison, Mozzarella, Tomato, Lettuce, Basil Pesto Aioli, Balsamic Drizzle also on a Brioche Bun.

Dinners are featured as are salads, sandwiches, and soups.
