The largest collection of retail, office, and residential space in Delaware County has a brand-new web presence.

The Polaris Centers of Commerce has unveiled its new home on the web, which showcases a series of video highlights on its home page. Included on the new site are dedicated directory pages for shopping, dining, entertainment, and hotel offerings.

Its a great place to browse and discover what stores, eateries, etc. may have arrived since your last visit.

A section of the new site focuses on leasing and development opportunities in what it calls “…a cohesive community featuring many international, national, regional, and local powerhouses with plenty of room for me.”

Here are “facts at a glance” shared on that page:

Polaris has:

  • 4.1 million square feet of Class A Office Space
  • 4 million square feet of retail space
  • 2,000 acres of land
  • 258,000 area travelers each day
  • 250-plus retail establishments
  • 100-plus restaurants
  • 14-plus hotels
  • 1,500-plus hotel rooms
  • 30,000-plus square feet of hotel conference facilities
  • 2,000-plus residential units
  • 40,000,000-plus regional visitors each year
  • 30,000-plus trade area employees

The Polaris area began to develop in the late 1990s, and that growth expanded expotentially with the opening of the Polaris Fashion Place Mall in 2001. Originally housing 146 stores, it now sits in the middle of a the greatest concentration of retail on the north side of Columbus. Included is the McCoy Center, the second-largest single tenant office building in the United States; only the Pentagon is larger.
