Western wear has staked out a new claim in the Polaris area, and the arrival comes with a full weekend of music, shopping and giveaways. Boot Barn is now open at 1267 Polaris Parkway in Polaris Towne Center. The retailer will mark the opening with a three-day celebration from Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23.
Work gear meets western style
The new store carries cowboy boots, work boots, jeans, jackets, western fashion and jobsite clothing, including flame-resistant gear. It also offers complimentary hat shaping and boot stretching, along with in-store pickup for online orders. That combination gives the store a wider audience than its name might suggest. Fashion is part of the draw, but so are practical boots and clothing for customers who work outdoors, in construction or in other demanding settings.
The Polaris location is near Applebee’s and Waffle House. Regular hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Sunday.
A three-day welcome
The grand-opening celebration will run from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, then from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday.
Live music is planned throughout the weekend, with performances by Billy Brown Country, Adam Calvert and Corey Hager. Salt and Light Coffee Co. will provide a coffee cart each day, while custom chain stitching and a custom hat bar will add a more hands-on element to the event.
Visitors can also enter daily boot raffles and try an afternoon prize wheel featuring gift cards and other prizes. Promotional offers include $20 off select boots and savings of up to 20 percent on select clothing. Event details are subject to change.
One opening in a national expansion
Boot Barn began with a single store in 1978. As of late July, the company operated 571 stores in 49 states, making the Polaris arrival part of a much larger growth campaign. The retailer expects to open 70 stores during its current fiscal year, which ends in March 2027. It is also projecting annual sales growth of 14 to 16 percent, according to its latest financial outlook.
Another addition to a busy retail corridor
The opening adds another national name to a Polaris retail district that has continued to attract new concepts. Polaris Fashion Place recently announced several incoming specialty tenants, including children’s boutique Jamison & Bexley, creative workshop 2D DIY and pet retailer Pawsome Pups, alongside recently opened VTrendz and T-shirt’s Place. Those additions are arriving throughout the summer.
Boot Barn brings a distinct identity to that mix. For one weekend in August, the new store will turn a retail opening into something closer to a small country festival, complete with live performers, custom accessories and plenty of boots.
