The retail mix at Polaris Fashion Place Mall continues to change, with both large and smaller spaces seeing a shift and with new retailers arriving.

The latest is The Spice & Tea Exchange, which is not only new to central Ohio, but actually to the entire state.Currently, the closest location to Delaware County is in the Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh.

The majority of the chain’s current stores are located in the Charlotte, North Carolina and on the eastern seaboard from Virginia to Massachusetts.

According to its website, the chain began 11 years ago in Saint Augustine, Florida, and has a goal of providing its customers with a “sensory shopping experience.” Spices, salts, sugars, kitchen accessories, grourmet boxes, and other items are on offer.

The new store is located on the mall’s Lower Level between Saks Fifth Avenue and JCPenney.
