The DelCo Trail Committee is now accepting applications for grants from municipalities, park districts, townships, and non profits for the 2022 Trail Assistance Program.

Eligible projects for funding include construction of multi-use trails within Delaware County; Acquisition of property or easements for a multi-use trail; Trail facilities (benches, drinking fountains, signage, accessibility improvements, counters, etc.); Maintenance of existing trails (crack sealing, striping, re-painting, etc.); and Matching funds for other trail grant programs.

Projects that are on the current Delaware County Trail System Master Plan will be given priority. A map detailing the components of that plan can be accessed here. Eligibility criteria are listed here.

Applications are being accepted through June 17. They can be submitted online at this link.
