The Delaware County Commissioners today announced the recipients of their 2024 Community Enhancement Grants, totaling $234,066.44.

The county’s CEG program distributes money from the county’s general fund to local nonprofit organizations, funding specific capital projects.

The 2024 recipients, project summaries and grant amounts are:

  • Boardman Arts Park, Inc. – construction of an entrance gate on West William Street: $25,000
  • Central Ohio Symphony – Link Up education program for county fourth graders: $7,500
  • Delaware County Cultural Arts Center – replacement of The Arts Castle front porch: $11,160
  • Delaware County Historical Society – accessibility upgrades to restrooms at the Cryder Research Library: $9,947.50
  • Del-Mor Dwellings – purchase of a new maintenance vehicle: $30,000
  • HelpLine of Delaware and Morrow Counties – installation of acoustic panels in workspace and an outside pick-up box: $5,000
  • Main Street Delaware, Inc. – production of videos promoting downtown Delaware businesses: $20,000
  • Recreation Unlimited Farm and Fun, Inc. – upgrades to pool: $14,114.94
  • Strand Theatre and Cultural Arts Association – replacement of building marquee: $25,000
  • Stratford Ecological Center – accessibility upgrades to entryway and restrooms: $25,161
  • Turning Point – installation of natural-gas generator at Delaware domestic violence shelter: $26,183
  • Westerville Area Resource Ministry – replacement of main parking lot: $10,000
  • Women’s City Club Foundation – installation of HVAC duct work: $25,000
