Step into the past and experience the wonder and tragedy of the world’s most famous ocean-liner, the Titanic. At COSI, located at 333 West Broad St. in Columbus, an extraordinary exhibition is opening its doors to the public. Beginning on March 9 and running through September 2, “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” invites visitors to embark on a journey through history.

A Chronicle of Artifacts and Memories

This remarkable exhibition showcases more than 350 artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic, lying 2.5 miles beneath the North Atlantic. These artifacts narrate the Titanic’s tale, from its ambitious construction to its tragic end. Full-scale room recreations within the exhibit offer a vivid and immersive experience of life aboard the ill-fated liner.

An Emotional Voyage Through Time

The Titanic exhibition is more than just a display of historical artifacts. It’s an emotional journey connecting visitors to the lives forever changed by the disaster. Personal belongings on display provide a poignant insight into the lives of those onboard. Each artifact holds a story, a memory of the Titanic’s passengers and crew, making the exhibition a deeply moving experience.

Your Ticket to History

Visitors to the exhibition will receive more than just entry. Upon signing up for “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition,” guests are given a replica boarding pass, allowing them to assume the role of a passenger on the Titanic. This unique approach creates a chronological journey through life on the Titanic, from its decks to its cabins, offering an educational and entertaining experience for all ages.
