Just outside Delaware, a new family-run farm experience is inviting visitors to slow down, step closer to the land, and meet a few alpacas along the way.

Nature’s Curve, located at 1040 Curve Road, is preparing to open in May 2026 as a boutique alpaca farm built around small-group visits, education, and a quieter kind of family outing. The farm describes itself as a place where agriculture and community meet “at the curve in the road,” with by-appointment visits designed for families, friends, school groups, and others looking for a more intentional farm experience.

More Than Alpacas

The centerpiece of the visit is a 90-minute farm tour that gives guests a chance to meet the farm’s alpacas, learn what makes the animals distinctive, and hand-feed them during the experience. The tour is designed for all ages and includes more than animal interaction. Visitors can also try on beekeeping suits, take part in a hands-on beekeeping simulation, learn about honeybees, explore composting and soil health, and take part in interactive activities throughout the farm.

Learning At The Pace Of Nature

Rather than presenting itself as a high-volume attraction, the farm emphasizes smaller, curated experiences rooted in nature, sustainability, and community. Its public materials describe a peaceful setting where families and groups can explore, rest, learn, and reconnect with the land and one another.

That approach shows up in the tour itself, where composting is presented not just as a gardening practice, but as part of the full circle of life on the farm. Beekeeping is introduced as both practical skill and ecological lesson, giving guests a closer look at the role bees play in healthy landscapes and local food systems.

A Garden, A Store, And A Take-Home Moment

Before leaving, visitors can browse the farm’s on-site store and walk through the garden. When the season allows, guests may also be able to take home fresh picks from the garden itself. The result is a farm visit with several layers: animal encounter, environmental education, hands-on activity, and a gentle invitation to pay attention to the rhythms of the land.

Planning A Visit

Nature’s Curve is located at 1040 Curve Road in Delaware and is open by appointment only. The farm lists contact information and booking access through its website, along with social channels on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Tours can accommodate up to 20 guests, and each guest is booked individually because participants must complete a liability waiver. Children under 3 are welcome and attend free of charge, although pets are not permitted on the farm. Local tourism posts list farm tour pricing at $20 for adults and $13 for children, with alpaca feed included.

For Delaware County families looking for something close to home but a little out of the ordinary, Nature’s Curve offers a new way to spend time outdoors: quiet enough to feel restorative, structured enough to be educational, and memorable enough that the alpacas may not be the only reason visitors come back.
