A library card from the Delaware County District Library (DCDL) unlocks all sorts of opportunities.

Books, of course, but also videos, audiobooks, and many more ways to spend some quality cerebral time this summer.

For kids, those opportunities are expanded this year because of a unique program being offered by the Gateway Film Center near the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus. The DCDL website is sharing the news that the From Book to Film series at Gateway, which is presenting a series of children’s books turned into movies, is free with your library card.

There were four films shown in June, but five more are on tap for July. They include:

July 2 & 3 – The Wizard of Oz

July 9 & 10 – The NeverEnding Story

July 16 & 17 – Where The Wild Things Are

July 23 & 24 – A Little Princess

July 30 & 31 – Paddington 2

Additional details are available here.

A library card from the DCDL is available to any Ohio resident. More information is available here.
