For many Delaware County residents, access to essential healthcare services can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why the Delaware Public Health District (DPHD) is rolling out its Spring Clinic Tour 2025, featuring a fully equipped Walk-in Mobile Clinic. This initiative brings immunizations, health screenings, WIC services, and other vital resources directly to local communities, ensuring that individuals and families can receive the care they need—without the hassle of long drives or complicated scheduling.

With no appointment required, residents can simply show up at one of the nine scheduled locations across the county, including fire departments, churches, and community centers. The tour kicks off on Monday, April 7, in Ostrander and Radnor, and will continue through May, making stops in Powell, Sunbury, Galena, Ashley, and Kingston.

Making Preventative Care More Accessible

Preventative healthcare is a cornerstone of well-being, and DPHD’s Spring Clinic Tour aims to remove barriers by offering free and low-cost services in convenient, familiar locations. Services include:

Immunizations to keep children and adults up to date on vaccinations
Health screenings to detect early signs of potential health issues
WIC services for families needing nutritional support
Crib distribution and safe sleep education for infants

By setting up clinics in areas where people naturally gather—like township fire departments and community food pantries—DPHD is ensuring that no one has to choose between convenience and their health.

A Community Effort to Promote Wellness

Public health is a community-wide effort, and DPHD’s mobile clinic is a shining example of how collaboration between local organizations can lead to healthier neighborhoods. Partnering with churches, township departments, and food pantries, the district ensures equitable access to care for families, seniors, and individuals of all backgrounds.

DPHD encourages all Delaware County residents to take advantage of this opportunity and visit the clinic while it’s in their area. With health professionals on hand to answer questions and provide personalized care, the Spring Clinic Tour 2025 is more than just a series of pop-up events—it’s a step toward a healthier, stronger community.
