The July First Friday event hosted by Main Street Delaware will be an opportunity to join art and love of country.

Chalk It Up for Freedom is an opportunity to turn the streets of downtown into art. Come celebrate freedom at a family-friendly event on the evening of July 5. The evening is sponsored by COHatch and Performance Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram.

Bring your own chalk and show off your artistic skills and turn concrete into a masterpiece. Also enjoy live music by Ra88.

A free bus shuttle will run from the Hayes Building, 145 North Union Street to down on a 15 minute rotation between 6 and 9 PM. You can also ride your bike downtown and have a safe, supervised place to park at the corner of Sandusky and Spring Streets.

As a reminder, the music of The Reaganomics will be featured at the Summer on Winter Concert on July 10. The tunes will happen between 7 and 9 PM on West Winter Street between Sandusky and Franklin.
