The Delaware County Engineer’s Office has released its 2019 Project List, and the amount of road projects to be accomplished over the next several months is truly impressive.

Included are 15 county and township road projects representing investment of approximately $50 million. These projects include the following:

  • Countywide Pavement Resurfacing
  • South Old 3C Highway Improvements
  • Piatt Road Extension (Cheshire to Berlin Station)
  • SR 315 and Home Road Intersection
  • Steitz Road Extension North of Hyatts Road
  • Lewis Center and North Road Improvements
  • County Home, Plumb, and Bunty Station Culverts
  • Worthington and Freeman Road Intersection
  • Highfield and Green Meadows Drive Intersection
  • Centerburg Road over Culver Creek Bridge Rehab
  • Home Road Extension East of US23
  • Harlem/Woodtown Road Improvements
  • Liberty and Seldom Seen Road Intersection
  • East Powell Road Improvements, Phase 2
  • New Traffic Signals

This does not include projects under $250000 or those with road closures less than two weeks.

Also announced are some nine projects scheduled for the 2020-2021 period.
