It’s the “must have” item for every well-appointed office desk or car dashboard in Delaware.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee has just released its new “Neglected Presidents” series, starring — you guessed it — Delaware’s own Rutherford B. Hayes.

Hayes is numbered with fellow White House occupants Franklin Pierce, Calvin Coolidge, fellow Ohioan Warren G. Harding, and others. Each is available in a numbered edition of 500, according to the Hall of Fame.

Alas, Rutherford suffered another indignity as four of the series — Coolidge, Woodrow Wilson, Benjamin Harrison, and William Howard Taft — have already sold out.

If you were curious about the word “neglected,” the site mentions that it refers to the previous lack of bobbleheads for those US Presidents.

So, what do you say, Delaware County? Let’s see how many central Ohioans can bring home! To obtain your bobblehead, click here.
