Special to 1808Delaware

The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association (OHHA) will present “Five Days in Delaware” from Sunday, September 19 through Thursday, September 23 as part of Little Brown Jug Week at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.

A full slate of programming is scheduled for the week, including coverage of all five days of racing on the OHHA Facebook page and HarnessRacingOhio.com.

The OHHA will begin each day with Trackside Live, presented by Hagemeyer Farms. Trackside Live is a half-hour interview show hosted by OHHA Outreach and Public Relations Coordinator Frank Fraas. Two shows will air each day prior to post time. Trackside Live will incorporate the traditional Speakers Series held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Following Trackside Live it is Countdown To Post Time, a half-hour show that will look at the day of racing from the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Countdown To Post Time is presented by the Ohio Harness Horse Breeders and DAC Vitamins and Minerals.

After Countdown To Post Time, it is live coverage of the entire race program. Coverage will include analysis of the races, interviews, and features. Race coverage is presented by Big Dee’s Tack and Vet Supply, Cool Winds Farm, Midland Acres, The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center, and The Stable.ca.

“This summer, the OHHA’s coverage of county fair racing in Ohio has been seen across the United States, Canada, and Europe,” said Fraas. “This gives our fans who have watched our coverage all summer the opportunity to watch one of the greatest events in harness racing from a great place like the Delaware County Fairgrounds.”
