The Delaware County District Library is offering three sessions later this week to introduce patrons to The Maker Studio.

These classes, to be held on July 5, will focus on Vector Design Basics, Engraved Garden Markers, and a 3D Printing Demo. More information on each can be obtained here:

The staff at the Delaware County District Library’s (DCDL) Main and Liberty Branch libraries will provide you with the training to independently operate all the equipment in our Maker Studios. These creative spaces are equipped with specialized tools like 3D printers, vinyl cutters, a sublimation printer, a laser cutter/engraver, sewing machines, and more. Plus, we have computers that come with design software.

Although the Maker Studios are designed as DIY areas, staff will be there to guide you through the initial stages, helping you make your design ideas a reality. Once you are comfortable with the tools, you can work on your future projects independently.

The Maker Studios are open to the public during designated lab hours. However, it is important to note that not all tools are accessible at each location. For specifics on equipment availability, please check the location tabs at each branch.
