The Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is asking residents in its multi-county planning area, including Delware County, to make their voices known in a national effort to highlight the importance of trails.

This is being accomplished through a survey from the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a group that is promoting creation of the Great American Rail-Trail, the preferred route of which crosses Delaware County.

A story that 1808Delaware shared on that proposal in June 2019 can be read here.

As the survey preface reads, “At Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC), we want to know more about what trails have meant to you during this time. Your stories and experiences are powerful—they make a difference as we work to make more great trails.”

The survey can be found and taken here.
