Welcome to the first ODOT Road Project Report of 2026!
With the weather improving slowly but surely, crews are already back at work doing important updates on area roadways. As in years past, we will be providing weekly updates for projects in Delaware and Franklin Counties.
The following is scheduled to take place during this week.
DELAWARE
Interstate 71
NEW IMPACTS
- I-71 southbound at Lewis Center Road will have various daytime lane restrictions (9 a.m. — 2 p.m.) Monday, March 9.
State Route 315
NEW IMPACTS
- State Route 315 Slip Repairs – SR 315 between U.S. 23 and SR 750 will have various daytime lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13 for tree trimming.
FRANKLIN
Interstate 270
NEW IMPACTS
- Far East Freeway — The I-270 southbound ramps Broad St. will close overnight (11 p.m. — 5 a.m.) Thursday, March 12.
- Detour: I-270 SB to Main St. to I-270 NB to Broad St.
Interstate 70
CONTINUING IMPACTS
- I-70 Pavement Reconstruction — I-70 westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound side of the roadway starting overnight Tuesday, December 9. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction through Fall 2026.
- Far East Freeway — Brice Rd. over I-70 will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting Saturday, August 2. Two left turn lanes on Brice Rd. northbound to I-70 WB will be maintained.
