ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.
Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on August 29.
DELAWARE COUNTY
U.S. Route 36
CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 36 Intersection Safety Improvement – The intersection of U.S. 36 and SR 257 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, August 2 through October 2021 for traffic signal installation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
U.S. Route 62
NEW IMPACTS
U.S. 62 northbound and southbound at I-71 will close starting 9 p.m., Sunday, August 29 through 6 a.m., Friday, September 3.
- Northbound detour: U.S. 62 to I-71 northbound to SR 665
- Southbound detour: Southbound traffic will be flagged on U.S. 62 under I-71 and be able to continue southbound.
NEW IMPACTS
Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, August 30 through Friday, September 3 for utility work.
Interstate 270
NEW IMPACTS
- The I-70 westbound ramp to I-270 southbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 29 for pavement work.
- Detour: I-70 westbound to I-270 northbound to Roberts Rd. to I-270 southbound.
- The I-70 eastbound ramp to I-270 southbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 29 for pavement work.
- Detour: I-70 eastbound to I-270 northbound to Roberts Rd. to I-270 southbound.
- The I-270 northbound ramp to I-70 eastbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, August 30.
- Detour: I-270 northbound to I-70 westbound to Hilliard-Rome Rd. to I-70 eastbound.
- The I-270 southbound ramp to I-70 eastbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, August 30.
- Detour: I-70 westbound to Hilliard-Rome Rd. to I-70 eastbound.
- The I-70 eastbound ramp to I-270 northbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, August 31.
- Detour: I-270 southbound to I-70 westbound to Wilson Rd. to I-70 westbound to I-270 northbound.
- The I-70 westbound ramp to I-270 northbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, August 31.
- Detour: I-70 westbound to Hilliard-Rome Rd. to I-70 eastbound toI-270 northbound.
- The U.S. 33 eastbound ramp to I-270 northbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Wednesday, September 1.
- Detour: U.S. 33 eastbound to I-270 southbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 northbound.
- The I-270 northbound ramp to I-70 westbound on the west side will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Thursday, September 2.

- The I-270 southbound ramp to Avery-Muirfield Dr. will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 29.
- Detour: I-270 westbound to U.S. 33 westbound to Avery-Muirfield Dr.
- The SR 161/U.S. 33 westbound ramp to I-270 northbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 29.
- Detour: U.S. 33 westbound to Avery-Muirfield Dr. to U.S. 33 eastbound to I-270 southbound.
- The SR 161/U.S. 33 eastbound ramp to I-270 northbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 29 and Monday, August 30.
- Detour: U.S. 33 westbound to Avery-Muirfield Dr. to U.S. 33 eastbound to I-270 northbound.

- The 5th Ave. ramp to I-670 will close nightly (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 29 through Thursday, September 2.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. to I-71 northbound to I-670.
- The I-71 southbound ramp to Spring St. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 29 through Thursday, September 2.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. to Washington Ave. to Spring St.
- The 3rd St./U.S. 23 southbound ramp to I-670 eastbound will close nightly (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 29 through Thursday, September 2.
- Detour: 3rd St. to E. Spring St. to Neil Ave. northbound to I-670 eastbound.
- The I-670 eastbound ramp to Cleveland Ave./SR 3 will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 29 through Thursday, September 2.
- Detour: I-670 eastbound to I-71 northbound to 11th Ave. to Cleveland Ave.
- The I-670 eastbound ramp to I-71 northbound/southbound will close nightly (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 29 through Thursday, September 2.
