ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.

Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on July 11.

DELAWARE COUNTY

Interstate 71

CONTINUING IMPACTS

  • I-71 southbound between Gemini Place and I-270 will have nightly lane restrictions (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Saturday, July 24 for resurfacing work.
  • The Gemini Place ramp to I-71 southbound will close nightly (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Saturday, July 24.
    • Detour: Gemini Pl. to Polaris Pkwy. eastbound to Cleveland Ave. southbound to I-270 westbound to I-71 southbound.
  • The I-71 southbound ramps to I-270 eastbound and westbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Saturday, July 24.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 161 eastbound to I-71 northbound to I-270 eastbound/westbound.
  • The Polaris Parkway eastbound and westbound ramps to I-71 southbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Saturday, July 24.
    • Detour: Cleveland Ave. southbound to I-270 westbound to I-71 southbound.

State Route 61

CONTINUING IMPACTS
SR 61 and Wilson Rd./SR 656 Roundabout – The intersection of SR 61 and Wilson Rd./SR 656 will close starting Tuesday, June 1 through August 2021 for construction of a peanut roundabout.

  • Detour: SR 61 to I-71 southbound to US 36 eastbound to SR 36/3 eastbound to SR 61 or reverse.

FRANKLIN COUNTY

U.S. Route 62

NEW IMPACTS

  • U.S. 62 northbound and southbound at I-71 will close overnight (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, July 11 and Monday, July 12 for bridge work.
    • Northbound detour: I-71 northbound to SR 665 to U.S. 62
    • Southbound detour: I-71 southbound to SR 56 to U.S. 62
  • The U.S. 62 ramp to I-71 northbound will close starting 7 p.m., Monday, July 12 for 30 days.
    • Detour: U.S. 62 to SR 665 to I-71 northbound.

Interstate 270

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-270 eastbound and westbound between Riverside Dr. and Smoky Row Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, July 11 through Friday, July 16 for pavement repairs and paving.
  • The I-270 westbound ramp to Sawmill Rd. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Wednesday, July 14 through Friday, July 16.
    • Detour: I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 eastbound to Sawmill Rd.
  • The Sawmill Rd. northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 westbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Wednesday, July 14 through Friday, July 16.
    • Detour: Sawmill Rd to I-270 eastbound to SR 315 northbound to I-270 westbound.

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-270 southbound between Main St. and Livingston Ave. will have weekend lane restrictions starting 7 p.m., Friday, July 16 through 5 a.m., Monday, July 19 for barrier work.

Interstate 670

NEW IMPACTS

  • The SR 3/Cleveland Ave. ramp to I-670 eastbound/I-71 northbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, July 11 through Thursday, July 15.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. eastbound to I-71 northbound to I-670.
  • The Spring St. ramp to I-71 northbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, July 11 through Thursday, July 15.
    • Detour: I-670 eastbound to Leonard Ave. to I-670 westbound to I-71 northbound.
  • The I-670 eastbound ramp to I-71 northbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, July 11 through Thursday, July 15.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. eastbound to I-71 northbound.
  • I-71 northbound between Long St. and 5th Ave. will have nightly lane restrictions (10- p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, July 11 through Thursday, July 15.
